Figure Ground Bursary

Cathy will attend one of the four artist led events to contribute her approach to public realm practice to the critical debate about the role of public art.

Shortlisted for Kent's Cultural Baton

Kent County Council announced the shortlist for Kent's Cultural Baton for the Olympics, with Cathy in the final selection for this prestigious work. Her proposal Bat'n Ball merges the concept of games and film technology to create a metal ball that opens to reveal inside a crystal ball displaying Kent's cultural offering.

Appointed Lead Artist & Curator

East Kent Local Authority Arts Partnership appointed Cathy to create the concept and carry out the lead role for Ashford's 4th annual Art & Architecture Festival with Hidden Passages.

Shortlisted for Rouse Kent Awards

January saw the announcement of the Biennial Rouse Kent Awards, with Cathy being in the final 5 selected for her work 'till the cows come home.

2008

Appointed by RKL Consultants to create 'till the cows come home, that features alongside part of Ashford's Shared Space Scheme.
